The Crozier used by Bishop Ken at the Ordination Mass on Saturday, August 22, was carved by an Indigenous artist for the late Archbishop Peter Sutton, O.M.I. He was Bishop of Labrador City-Schefferville before being named Archbishop of Keewatin-Le Pas where he served for 20 years.…So, another item from OMI Bishop to OMI Bishop.

In our diocesan heritage, there is a precious chalice. This chalice was consecrated on March 15, 1910, by Cardinal Rafael Merry del Val, the Secretary of State of Pope Saint Pius X, and was given by the Holy Father to Bishop Albert Pascal, who was the first Bishop of Prince Albert.
