Bishop's Annual Appeal 2026
An Invitation From Our Bishop
Bishop Ken Thorson, O.M.I. invites every parish family across the Diocese of Prince Albert to take part in this year's appeal
— a shared act of faith that sustains our priests, our missions, and our ministries.
Every gift, of any size, is a gift at the altar

ABOUT THE APPEAL
Anchor 1
“...as we love our neighbours, we often discover that we've been meeting Christ all along”
One diocese, one family, one mission
The Bishop's Annual Appeal is how the parishes of Prince Albert Diocese give together, rather than alone. One gift, made in your own parish, joins the gifts of families across 79 parishes and missions to carry the work of the Church further than any single community could on its own.

Envelopes are available through your parish office, and gifts of every size are welcomed and appreciated.
Bishop Ken Thorson, O.M.I

A WORD FROM BISHOP THORSON
Walking together as brothers and sisters in Christ
"... Every gift becomes another small seed that grows God's kingdom..."
Since being installed at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bishop Ken Thorson has spoken often of wanting to know the people of this diocese—their lives, their joys, and their struggles—and to walk alongside them as a brother. The Bishop's Annual Appeal is one of the most direct ways parishioners can walk that road with him, turning a shared act of generosity into ministry that reaches every deanery of the diocese.
