A New Years Message to start off the New Year
Meeting with Bishops
The four Bishops met with State Deputy Larry Packet and Sask KofC Charitable Foundation President Harvey Granatier to discuss the future of our Order and the direction we as parishioners are taking to succeed. Discussion on Vocations Endowment Fund and plans for a presentation video was the agenda for our meeting. We are blessed beyond measure Bishops – Thank You!
Larry Packet State Deputy Saskatchewan
The 2023 Knights of Columbus Indoor Games are scheduled for January 26th, 27th and 28th. After a two-year Covid hiatus it is looking very much like the 2023 games will go forward. 2023 is the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Knights of Columbus in Saskatchewan. To help celebrate this milestone anniversary the Indoor Games organizing committee is hoping to have some special features as part of the weekend events. To help cover these extra costs as well as to help cover the costs of running the games we are once again asking the Knights of Columbus Councils in Saskatchewan to contribute financially as well as with volunteer help. Checks can be made out to Knights of Columbus Indoor Games and sent to Gil Wist at 562 Delayen Crescent, Saskatoon, Sask S7N 2V2.
To those councils who contributed last year and have indicated that we should use the funds for this year’s games please know that we very much appreciate your contributions and know that we will use these funds wisely. Also if you feel you can once again contribute to this event from your council’s 2022/23 budget we will gratefully accept those donations as well.
We will again be soliciting volunteers at a later date. We cannot run these games without the valued support of our many volunteers.
Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to working with many of you over the next few months.
President of the K of C Indoor Games Organizing Committee
