Martin I was born in Todi, Tuscany (Italy) and died on September 16, 655 in Cherson, Crimea (present day Kherson, Ukraine). He was pope from 649 to 653.

April 30 - St. Marie of the Incarnation
St. Marie de l’Incarnation, born Marie Guyart who is the founder of the religious order of the Ursulines in Canada, was born on October 28, 1599 in Tours, France and died on April 30, 1672 in Quebec City.

St. Louis Grignion de Montford is the patron saint of preachers and those who promote devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary
April 23 - St. Adalbert
St. Adalbert is the patron saint of the Czech Republic, Poland, and the Duchy of Prussia. He is also the patron saint of the Archdiocese of Esztergom in Hungary.
