Sacred Heart Cathedral, P.A. CWL Thrift Shop – is having a ½ price sale every Thursday in June.  Open from 10am to 2:45pm. Items are usually $2 each. 

June 16-17, 88th Annual Pilgrimage in Wakaw – Saturday, June 16, registration is 12 pm.  The pilgrimage will continue on Sunday, June 17 until 2:30 pm.  Come and enjoy a two-day, high energy event for the whole family (ages 5+) that will challenge you to grow in the purpose of your life. June 30 & July 1, Victoire Centennial Celebration – Notre Dame des Victoires will be having their centennial celebration at Morin Lake Reunion Grounds.  Saturday evening after registration will be Wine & Cheese with entertainment, Sunday is a pancake breakfast, visit to church and cemetery, Mass with Bishop Albert Thévenot, M. Diverse Events

May 23, SuicideTalk, Wakaw– Katherine Burkart with the Saskatoon Health Region has partnered with Lise Gareau, a LivingWorks Program Trainer who lost a child to suicide, to provide a suicideTALK for the Wakaw area.  This program explores things like: “Should we talk about suicide?”, ways to help a person at risk, acknowledging the pain of those touched by suicide and thoughts of suicide.  Join them in creating a safer community. July 1, Men of Integrity Retreat – The theme is “Step Out in Faith”. We are seeking men of courage to join us for this weekend of brotherhood to grow in holiness. Fr. November 2-4, “One Lord, One Call – A Rainbow of Ministries”- The Catholic Health Association of Saskatchewan (CHAS) and the Saskatchewan Catholic School Boards Association (SCSBA) are very pleased to announce a joint convention, “One Lord, One Call – A Rainbow of Ministries” being held in Regina at the Regina Inn, November 2th – 4th. The conference aims to bring people together to celebrate Catholic health and education in Saskatchewan. There is no time like the present to encourage a mindset and the opportunity to “walk in the shoes of the other” to see, hear and experience how the charism of Catholic faith and tradition are carried out. Featured key-note speakers will be Jesse Manibusan and David Wells.   The Provincial Youth Day on Friday, November 2, will bring together as many as 400 high school students. Jesse Manibusan, a world renowned musician and speaker, will engage the youth in a high energy, interactive presentation.
